Danai Kokogia is a film and video game composer based in London, UK.

As of 2024, Danai is working on the orchestral score for a new video game IP while also composing the music for a new children’s TV series created by Malou Bonicos (The Beeps, Angels of Jarm). At the same time, she is a Mentor at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Film Composers Lab alongside legendary composers Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter IV, Thor, Sense and Sensibility) and John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom, Grantchester). During the same year, she acted as a BAFTA Games Awards Juror in the Music category.

In 2022-23, Danai worked as an Assistant to BAFTA and Ivor Novello nominated composer, David Housden for the score of Disney Illusion Island.

Danai holds a Master’s distinction degree in Composition for Screen from the Royal College of Music where she studied as a scholar supported by the Dennis and Sylvia Forbes Award.
